Vega wins over M19 on CIS TI7 qualifiers Author // Ace

In CIS The International 7 qualifiers Vega faced M19.

First map picks:
Vega: Slark (Alohadance), Legion Commander (G), Sand King (Afterlife), Rubick (CeMa), Ancient Apparition (Silent)
M19: Lycan (ILTW), QoP (Nix), Tidehunter (Funn1k), Nyx (Muriel), Dazzle (Misha)

On the first map teams did everything to counter each other. "Sharks" did better at that with Ancient Apparation pick over Dazzle, put Legion Commander against QoP and picked Slark against Tidehunter and Lycan. M19 had chances on earlygame victory and snowball, but this plan failed. Black-n-red outthought themselves by putting trilane against enemy safelane.

Vega were losing fights only because of enemy Ravage and Slark wasn't taking part in fights until minute 20 and bought his items. In the first fight with Alohadance Vega pointed out their domination that already reached 15k gold. "Sharks" slowed down the pace of the game, relaxed after one destroyed lane, but eventually managed to finish the game.

Second map picks:
Vega: Ursa (Alohadance), Mirana (G), Sand King (Afterlife), Bounty Hunter (CeMa), Rubick (Silent)
M19: Venomancer (ILTW), Bristleback (Nix), Nyx (Funn1k), Spirit Breaker (Muriel), Crystal Maiden (Misha)

On the second map it didn't work out that bright. They didn't snowball with Bounty Hunter even though he did 5 courier kills. G, who was stable throughout the season, died too many times and soon M19 were able to take the lane because of his deaths.

Thanks to BH ultimate Vega were in game and were even leading in terms of net worths, so it all came down to teamfights and initiation. "Squadron" soon lost one barrack but were already leading 20k gold. Despite that, they lost the final fight together with the map.

Third map picks:
Vega: Venmancer (Alohadance), Templar Assassin (G), Underlord (Afterlife), Clockwerk (CeMa), Disruptor (Silent)
M19: Antimage (ILTW), Puck (Nix), Tidehunter (Funn1k), Nyx (Muriel), Warlock (Misha)

On map three M19 once again made a risky draft after picking Antimage against a pick that can snowball and push. Vega didn't make anything extraordinary and made use of their advantage on lane and in midgame.

Later today Vega will be playing upper bracket finals against the winner of match Empire - Spirit.
