Vega Squadron says goodbye to Sergey “G” Bragin 30.12.2017 Author // Konservator

After being with “sharks” for quite a while, our Dota 2 midlaner, Sergey “G” Bragin leaves the team. His contract lasts until December 31st, 2017, after that he becomes the free agent.

CIS-scene veteran has been playing under Vega Squadron tag for over a year and came through several roster changes, be it complete lineup update or particular replacements. G played an important role in the team, got better not only as a player and a teammate, but also as a mentor with years of experience and devotion to the game. Vega Squadron thanks Sergey for the hard work and wishes him best of luck in his favorite discipline.

Georgy “drAmer” Faleev, Vega Squadron eSports Director:

— Unfortunately, Vega Squadron’s and G’s paths diverge, by mutual agreement the parties decided not to renew the contract. I sincerely hope that this changes will benefit both the “Sharks” and Sergei. The renewed team will first appear on scene on the nearest ESL One qualifiers already in the first days of January 2018.

Murielle “Kips” Huisman, Vega Squadron Dota 2 coach:

— In the short time that we worked together, G impressed me with his knowledge and resilience. But our efforts as a team only led to meager rewards. While it pains me to see Sergey go, I think that it's the best move for both him and for Vega. I wish him good of luck in his next squad. All the best!

We’re looking forward new year and are working twice as hard for future tests and competitions. Read about the future of our roster here, on our website, or in social media:
