Vega Squadron are glad to announce the new roster for Continental League Summer Split of League of Legends.

New "sharks" roster will consist of 6 players:

Alexandr "NoNholy" Ovchinnikov (toplane)
Nikolay "Zanzarah" Akatov (jungle)
Evgeniy "Drobovik123" Belousov (midlane)
Lev "Nomanz" Yakshin (midlane)
Rolandas "Optimas" Vincalovičius (marksman)
Paweł "delord" Szabla (support)

Coaching staff:

Alexey "Sharkz" Taranda (head coach)
Samuel "Arrowhead" Moreno (analyst)
David "Nodriza" Espinar (analyst)

Anna "Revita" Ruslanova, team manager:

- This roster is a result of hard work and weeks of try-outs. We made several tough decisions in order to reach one aim - become the Continental League champions and present our region on World Championships. What do we need in order to achieve that? Strong players, coaching roster of high level, a lot of work, a bit of luck and fans' support. I believe that we have the first 2 things, what goes to everything else - time will tell, but I think that #OnlyVega will help us reach our goals.

Alexey "Sharkz" Taranda, main coach:

- Speaking about new faces in Vega Squadron, for the last 30 days of practice Optimas prove to be a great ADC despite his lack of experience. He might be a foreign player, but he speaks Russian fluently. He's the most hungry for victories player that I've seen in CIS region and I believe that by the end of this split Optimas will display gameplay of level you've never seen in CIS before!

In the very beginning of try-outs I noticed Paweł "delord" Szabla from Poland but he was playing with Reign team in CSQ and we had to wait for the tournament's end, but things changed and now I'm glad to announce that we signed a contract with an incredibly strong support player. Pawel will bring experience and mechanics from Europe that CIS really lacks right now. We got along really quick and I'm sure we will reach new hights with him.

Nomanz is the strongest midlaner picking from available agents and a player with a Challenger rank on EuW. We are sure that with this coaching roster and experienced players by the end of the split we'll have our own BabyPerkz! Lev will be living and practicing with the team just as Drobovik123.

I'm glad that we managed to sign an experienced player from Europe and 2 talented russian-speaking guys. It is a step forward for the team. What goes to our analyst duo, they already have experience in Europe and prove their usefulness in the first weeks. They'll give us a huge advantage compared to other teams before the matches actually start.
