Vega loses both games of the LCL Day 3 01.07.2017 Author // Ace

In the first day of week 2 of LCL Vega faced Virtus.Pro and Vaevictis Esports.

Vega – Virtus Pro

Picks:
Vega: Mordekaiser (NoNholy), Kha’Zix (Zanzarah), Galio (Drobovik123), Varus (Optimas), Alistar (delord)
Virtus Pro: Renekton (Doxy), Rek’Sai (Kreox), Corki (Paranoia), Kaitlyn (P1noy), Braum (SaNTaS)

Vega Squadron baited a Renekton pick after Galio and then went for Mordekaiser. Despite great performance on week one, Vega Squadron's botlane started to struggle against VP's one, top and mid were fine, but Rek'Sai ganked once and turned NoNholy out of the game.

Vega made a bet on macro gameplay and were keeping close, but Virtus.Pro "opened" the game for themselves with one macro-movement: "bears" suddenly took Baron. Vega decided that it's time to act here and now, initiated a fight and lost it. From this point on VP's advantage grew higher and higher, so there weren't any outs for Vega to come back.

Vega – Vaevictis

Picks:
Vega: Shen (NoNholy), Gragas (Zanzarah), Corki (Drobovik123), Varus (Optimas), Thresh (delord)
Virtus Pro: Kled (Solece), Rek’Sai (Cboi), Cassiopeia (Ekka), Shayah (Unho1y), Rakan(Grisen)

Game began with an absolute "free" kill for Vega thanks to delord's hook. He got the kill, so botlane was snowballed. "Squadron" were fighting with success and were 4k gold ahead at some point, but all that was nullified by one crazy dive and 4 deaths. Vaevictis came back into the game almost instantly considering 3 dragons, 2 of which were stolen by the "mafia".

Each time Vaevictis felt more and more comfortable in teamfights, focused down Corki that was dying too fast. On 40-ish minutes Vaevictis were ahead in terms of gold and were extremely confident. A Baron fight was lost 0 to 4 by "sharks" and the game was lost at this point.
