Vega failed to handle ProDotA Gaming 17.04.2017 Author // Ace

In the first match of WellPlay Invitational Season 8 Vega Squadron sensationally lost to ProDotA Gaming.

First map picks:
Vega: Slark (Alohadance), Storm Spirit (G), Omninight (Afterlife), Tusk (CeMa), KotL (Silent)
PD: Weaver (Garter), Invoker (Keyser), Clockwerk (33), Earthshaker (MiLAN), Crystal Maiden (j4)

On map one ProDotA went for Earthshaker and Clockwerk that were making pulls and hit Slark's weak spot - laning. Situation got even worse when Vega gave away kills with Sunstrike and great opponent warding.

Slark didn't catch up this game and Storm Spirit just wasn't quick enough to catch heroes that were not only farming lanes but heroes as well. This game ended with a stomp by PD.

Second map picks:
Vega: Lifestealer (Alohadance), Invoker (G), Batrider (Afterlife), Slardar (CeMa), Warlock (Silent)
PD: Weaver (Garter), Ember Spirit (Keyser), Clockwerk (33), Bounty Hunter (MiLAN), KotL (j4)

Second map looked like the first one with one note - Vega felt alright on lanes. Things got worse in midgame when Lifestealer suffered strong pressure and his teammates just fed away kills trying to help.

Vega came back a little bit and didn't let another stomp happen, but "squadron" pick wasn't strong enough to turn the game. 2:0 and Vega suffers another sensible defeat after a great debut.
