Vega begins on LOOTBet Invitational with a confident victory over Effect 24.05.2017 Author // Ace

In the first match of LOOTBet Invitational that is also considered the qualifier for The Summit 7 and WCA Europe 2017 Vega faced Effect.

First map picks:
Vega: Ursa (Alohadance), QoP (G), Dark Seer (Afterlife), Treant Protector (CeMa), Shadow Shaman (Silent)
Effect: Juggernaut (Maden), Storm Spirit (Afoninje), Batrider (nongrata), Io (KingR), Crystal Maiden (Arszeeqq)

Vega began with early domination on lanes thanks to CeMa's courier kill. So, "sharks" core got the boost together with supports. Despite that great start Vega still managed to ticke fan's nerves. At first Roshan attempt they died. The next try, however, was successful, but nongrata stole the Aegis.

Still, Vega won this fight and took the advantage. G was leading in net worth and enemy heroes were just not capable of killing him. He only died twice this game and "squadron" finished the game with confidence.

Second map picks:
Vega: Bristleback (Alohadance), Phantom Assassin (G), Batrider (Afterlife), Ogre Magi (CeMa), Jakiro (Silent)
Effect: Ursa (Maden), Outworld Devourer (Afoninje), Legion Commander (nongrata), Io (KingR), Shadow Shaman (Arszeeqq)

Next map Vega showed that they learned something in China. Bristleback was the first-ban character out there and Aloha got him in his hands. He showed what this hero can do while his supports were stacking him everything they could.

In numbers "squadrons" lead wasn't huge, but "sharks" plan was working. Vega had great pushing lineup and punished the opponent for every mistake they made with destroyed buildings. "Sharks" still made many of their own, but their gameplay was significantly cleaner and it did result in a 2:0 victory.
